Amy Winehouse is accused of attacking a fan at a high society ball held in London’s Berkeley Square last September. Dancer Sherene Flash said she wanted to take a picture with the 25-year-old singer when Winehouse punched her in the eye, saying, “Life can’t go on. I can’t do this anymore.
In court, the judge asked if she punched the woman, Amy responded “No, no, no.” She pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault.
Winehouse’s was accompanied by her father Mitch Winehouse. The case was adjourned until July 23.
