The teen-aged baby daddy of Britney Spear’s sister was nursing a fractured skull Sunday after rolling his pickup during a Louisiana bachelor-party outing. Casey Aldridge was charged with careless driving in the early Sunday morning crash near Lake Bruin in Tensas Parish, La.
Britney Spear’s sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, was at Aldridge’s bedside Sunday at the Riverland Medical Center in Vidalia, La., People magazine reported. Jamie Lynn Spears, 18, and Aldridge, 19, are the parents of a 10-month-old daughter, Maddie. The couple live together, but have called off marrying each other for the time being. A family source told People that Aldridge suffered “a cracked skull” and had been “in and out” of consciousness. “It’s not as serious as we thought at first,” the source said.
Aldridge had been attending a cousin’s bachelor party, when he and some friends decided to go crabbing, the source said.
Cops said there was no indication alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
Trooper Billy Ziegler of Louisiana State Police said several passengers were in Aldridge’s 2008 Ford F-250 pickup when it went off the veered off a road and flipped.
