Lindsay Lohan’s home was burglarized and this time it was pretty bad. While Lindsay Lohan was busy arguing with a Manhattan deli owner about her phone, three burglars were hard at work ransacking her Hollywood Hills home. ”It’s true,” the actress’ mother, Dina Lohan, told People.com. “The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed.” She added, “Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn’t home.” Lohan, 23, arrived home early Sunday morning to discover that her property appeared to have been burglarized. The actress, who had come from attending a family friend’s birthday party in Malibu, reportedly called her father, Michael Lohan, who then phoned the police. Michael told TMZ he believes the break-in was “an inside job” because the people employed by his daughter failed to turn the alarm on. ”I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family,” said the family’s patriarch. “Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop.” Unfortunately for the actress, this isn’t the first time intruders have tried breaking into her house. In May, suspects were captured on surveillance video but were unsuccessful and left after being presumably scared off by the alarm. As for the starlet, her mother says “She is okay, but upset.”
