South Korean fashion model, Daul Kim, was found dead Thursday in her Paris home in an apparent suicide, officials said. Her sleek look was most recently on display in this fall’s Topshop ad for designer Christopher Kane’s collection. The 5-foot-10 Kim has flitted through the pages of countless big-name fashion books over the years, including several international versions of Vogue. French police found 20-year-old Kim’s body. An official says French cops are investigating the cause of death but refused to provide further details today. Kim’s modeling agency in South Korea, Esteem, says agency officials and her family are heading to Paris.
Kim was a fixture at fashion weeks in Paris, London, Milan and New York, where she has modeled for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Anna Sui and Alexander McQueen. source
