In a desperate plea to save her ex-husband, Pamela Bach is speaking out about David Hasselhoff’s struggle with alcoholism.
“The despair — feeling hopeless and unable to believe that things can ever change with David’s alcoholism over the years — has affected our whole family,” Bach said in a statement. “We want our lives to be different, but nothing we have done has brought about change.” Hasselhoff was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles over Thanksgiving weekend after he collapsed several times and was unable to stand up. His attorney since his dismissed reports claiming the actor was held on psychiatric hold.
Despite the actor’s lawyers and handlers denying that his multiple hospital trips have been alcohol-related, his ex-wife, who was recently arrested on a DUI charge, is begging the actor’s fans to help save him before it’s too late.
“We ask David’s fans, supporters and handlers to take swift action to save this wonderful man’s life,” she said. “I have always been close to my daughters to comfort and support them as well always being there for David. We will be forever hurt from this cruel disease. I am grateful for our two daughters, who have been incredibly brave, strong and protective souls.” source
