The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence after crashing his car into a telephone pole in New Jersey, PEOPLE confirms.
Police in Montville Township, N.J., responded to an emergency call made at 1:47 a.m. after a car struck a telephone pole. When they arrived, Giudice was at the scene and was then taken to the hospital, Police Captain Ed Rosellini tells PEOPLE.
He was charged with “driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving [and] failure to maintain his traffic lane,” Rosellini said. Guidice was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital and after his visit, he was handed over to the Clifton, N.J., Police Department because of outstanding warrants, Rosellini said. There, he was held on $2,625 bail.

Bach, David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife was arrested for DUI … and she will probably do jail time. According to law enforcement sources, Bach took a breathalyzer test and blew a .14 and a .13.
She was taken Van Nuys where she was booked and released. Bach told TMZ, “I am remorseful and mortified. I am going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce.” By the way, the divorce was final in 2007. Bach added that she was trying to comfort her daughters earlier in the evening, then went to dinner where she had a few drinks. According to official documents, bail was set at $15,000. Bach said she was released on her own recognizance and will attend an AA meeting today. Bach was busted for DUI in March, 2009, pled no contest and was placed on probation. A second DUI in California gets you mandatory jail time.
Shayne Lamas has been popped for DUI on Saturday November 14. She also admitted to being under the influence and behind the wheel in Venice, California.
“Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing,” the 24-year-old daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas tells E!. “However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite. I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.”
