The A-list came out for the launch of VEVO, the world’s premiere destination for premium music video and entertainment. The event was held at Skylight Studio in New York City.
VEVO is a joint venture between Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment and its a YouTube-powered online destination for all music videos and other video assets from the labels involved.
Some of the celebs in the house were Lady Gaga who performed, Ricky Martin, Shania Twain, Justin Bieber, John Mayer, Pete Wentz, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Nick Cannon, Sheryl Crow and Justin Timberlake.
It’s nothing but the best for Jay-Z: The music mogul celebrated his 40th birthday in style last week – thanks to his wife, Beyoncé. The Grammy-nominated singer planned a star-studded surprise party for her hubby and invited 50 of his closest pals, including Diddy, Kate Hudson, A-Rod, Kanye West and Alicia Keys. DJ Cassidy spun tunes at the bash held at the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic. The party, which had a 1940s theme, included a fireworks show and two dance floors.
