Amy Winehouse believes in love. She is reportedly set re-marry her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. The two were married in Miami the first time, this time it will be in Las Vegas. The only thing holding the ceremony up is Blake’s heroin addiction. Once he gets out of rehab, we’ll hear wedding bells or Elvis singing—either way a marriage is supposed to happen. Love is a wonderful thing….yeah right!

Simon Cowell may be more generous than some people think – at least when it comes to dollars and carats. The “American Idol” judge’s fiancée, Mezhgan Hussainy, was snapped flashing her impressive diamond engagement ring while in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Afghan-born make-up artist put an end to rumors swirling that Cowell, 50, was about to pop the question when she made the announcement to RadarOnline.com last week. The couple, who met on the set of the hit FOX competition program, reportedly began dating a year ago. Celebrity jeweler David Mamane was impressed with Cowell’s choice of jewelry, telling UsMagazine.com, “I never would have pegged Simon Cowell to be a guy that spends so much money on a woman. Hilary Duff is engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie. The Edmonton Oilers star gave the 22-year-old Duff an engagement ring while the duo were vacationing in Hawaii, according to reports. “After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news,” Duff’s rep Nanci Ryder told the magazine. “They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.” Comrie, 29, a former player for the New York Islanders, is often cheered on by Duff at his games. Meanwhile, Comrie is a frequent fixture at Duff’s various press functions.
Crazy Carrie Prejean has found a man to marry her. Prejean got engaged to St. Louis Rams quarterback Kyle Boller on Saturday, E! News reports. The couple reportedly made their year-and-a-half romance official in Prejean’s hometown of San Diego, where Boller, 28, spends his time during the off-season.
Katy Perry found out about Russell Brands surprise proposal because she Googled herself on the internet. She had a feeling he was going to propose so she powered on and started searching. “Unfortunately, I still Google myself sometimes. I saw it on Google alerts. I’m going to be honest,” Perry said during E! Entertainment’s coverage of the Grammy Awards red carpet. A pal tells UsMagazine.com that Beatz, 31 (who is currently divorcing wife Mashonda), proposed with a 7-carat sparkler right before her big day; the happy couple were photographed strolling on a Hawaii beach the day of the proposal, Jan. 24. Keys’ rep denies she is engaged, but another friend reveals, “They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.” Adds the pal: “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom].” Swizz is equally smitten with Keys. “What we have is so precious,” he gushed to the New York Daily News last year. |
