Britney Spears was supposed to show up in court yesterday but her appearance has been delayed — however, the end game for the conservatorship may now be in sight. Britney was supposed to sit down with Judge Reva Goetz at 1:30 today to talk about her progress, but her appearance has been put off because, we’re told, the parties need more time before the meeting.
You don’t need a PhD in psychology to see how much progress Britney has made in the last year. The judge wants to sit down with Britney for a second time this year, but it’s premature until the judge gets more info.

Kate Winslet, 34, and her husband, Sam Mendes, 44, have announced their separation after nearly seven years of marriage. The couple have a daughter together.
According to a statement released by lawyers, “Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year.” The statement continued, “Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children. They ask that the media respect the privacy of the family.”

“I know he loves me,” Hunter, 45, tells GQ in a lengthy new interview. “I have never had any doubt at all about that. We love each other very much. And that hasn’t changed, and I believe that will be till death do us part. The love doesn’t go away. It’s unconditional.”
That love began on the night she met Edwards, 56 – and first slept with him – in February 2006. “I had never experienced anything like what was flowing between us. I sat on the other side of the room. I wouldn’t go near him,” she says. “It was just this, this magnetic force field like I had never experienced. It terrified me. Absolutely terrified me.”
Hunter says she feels “such compassion” for Edwards’s wife Elizabeth, who has battled breast cancer since 2004 – and stood by her husband for several years before separating this year. But Hunter adds: “Infidelity doesn’t happen in healthy marriages. The break in the marriage happens before the infidelity. And that break happened, you know, two and a half decades before I got there. So the home was wrecked already. I was not the Home Wrecker.”

David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman are more than just Friends: The couple have announced they’ll soon be husband and wife.
Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 24, are engaged, his rep confirmed to Entertainment Weekly Sunday. He reportedly met Buckman, a photographer, while he was in London directing the 2007 flick Run Fatboy Run. This will be the first marriage for both. source

Shaunie O’Neal was recently interviewed by Essence magazine and she gives us some inside information about why she left Shaq as well as addresses a few rumors. The move to Miami wasn’t good for their marriage.
Miami is a great city. It just wasn’t a great city for our marriage. I know they say L.A. has its groupies, but Miami has a different mentality. Even going to the games, the whole environment is so different. Girls are practically sitting in their bra and panties in the arena. When you’re trying to keep your husband, that’s a lot to take. It was a whole new lifestyle I wasn’t ready for. Apparently we didn’t have a strong enough foundation for Shaq to withstand that type of temptation.
